12 pancakes
  • 310 ml (1 1/4 cup) Natrel Plus 2%

  • 250 ml (1 cup) Sealtest 1% Cottage Cheese

  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 10 ml (2 tsp.) vanilla extract

  • 500 ml (2 cups) unbleached all-purpose flour

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp.) baking powder

  • Choice of toppings: Fresh fruit (raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, etc.)

  • Maple syrup

  1. In a food processor or blender, combine the Natrel Plus 2%, the Sealtest 1% Cottage Cheese and the sugar. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well. Set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. Using a whisk, gradually add the liquid ingredients to the dry mixture.

  3. Heat a non-stick pan on low to medium heat. Once hot, coat the pan with butter. Using a 60 ml (1/4 cup) ice cream scoop, pour the batter in the middle of the pan. Spread the batter lightly with the back of a spoon.

  4. Cook the pancakes 2 to 3 minutes on each side. When bubbles appear in the middle of the pancakes or the edges start to cook, it’s time to turn them over.
