S’mores Hot Chocolate

This S’mores hot chocolate is a delicious twist on the famous treat we love to enjoy while camping. A creamy and comforting hot chocolate made with Sealtest chocolate milk. Perfect for after skiing or an evening by the campfire.

Ingredients
  • 8 to 10 marshmallows, divided 

  • 4 Graham crackers, crushed 

Preparation
  1. Heat 2 or 3 marshmallows over the fire until the inside is melted, then spread the marshmallow on the rim of each mug using a knife or spoon. Quickly dip the rim into the crushed Graham crackers. Set aside. 

  2. In a small saucepan, pour the chocolate milk. 

  3. Heat over medium-high until the Sealtest chocolate milk is hot. Stir constantly with a whisk or spatula to prevent burning. Remove from heat once the milk is hot enough. 

  4. Divide the hot chocolate into the mugs. 

  5. Skewer the remaining marshmallows on long sticks or twigs found outdoors, or on BBQ skewers. 

  6. Roast the marshmallows over the campfire and serve them with the hot chocolate. 

It’s ready! You can now enjoy your S’mores hot chocolate. 

Tips
  • If you don’t want to coat the rim of the mug with melted marshmallows and Graham cracker crumbs, you can simply sprinkle them into the mug before serving. 

  • The hot chocolate can be prepared in advance at home and kept in an insulated bottle until ready to serve with marshmallows around the fire. 

  • No campfire? You can roast your marshmallows over a propane stove!
